Michael Mazerov, Senior Fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities in Washington, DC, will explain why cutting state taxes is not an effective means of boosting economic growth, creating jobs, and enhancing entrepreneurship. Instead, he will indicate why states should prioritize investing in education, worker training, public infrastructure and targeted assistance to small business.
